Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use ldrobots.ro, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run this site and to talk with people interested in RObot.

01Who we are

The data controller for this website is LOVE DEATH & ROBOTS SRL (“LD Robots”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Romania.

02What we collect

Information you give us. When you choose to contact us through the site:

• Waitlist — your name and email address.
• Skill School application — your name, email address, chosen focus area, and (optionally) a short message about what you would teach RObot.
• Any other details you include if you email us directly.

Information collected automatically. We do not use analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking on this site. Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and the time of the request) in server logs, for security and to deliver the site reliably.

03How we use it

• To add you to the waitlist and send you updates about RObot, owner slots, and launch.
• To review and respond to Skill School applications.
• To answer enquiries you send us.
• To operate, secure, and maintain the website.

04Legal bases (GDPR Article 6)

• Consent — for waitlist sign-ups and marketing updates. You can withdraw consent at any time (see your rights below).
• Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries and to keep the site secure and functioning.
• Steps prior to a contract — where you ask us about pilots, demos, or working together.

05Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site:

• Loops — stores our waitlist and application contacts, and sends the updates you signed up for. See the Loops privacy policy.
• Web3Forms — processes and delivers form submissions to us by email. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
• Google (Firebase Hosting) — hosts and serves the website, and maintains standard request logs.
• Google Fonts — serves the site's fonts; your browser's request may expose your IP address to Google. See the Google privacy policy.

We may also disclose data where required by law.

06International transfers

Some of our providers (e.g. Google, Loops, Web3Forms) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

07How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and application data until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected. Enquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.

08Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict or object to processing;
• receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

To exercise any of these, email office@ldrobots.ro. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority, ANSPDCP.

09Cookies & local storage

This site does not use tracking cookies. It stores a small amount of functional data in your browser (your theme preference and your cookie-banner choice). Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

10Security

The site is served over encrypted HTTPS (TLS), and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

11Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its “last updated” date, always lives on this page.
